Description

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze historical and current financial data to assess the company's financial health.
  • Develop financial models to forecast business outcomes and profitability.
  • Prepare accurate financial forecasts based on trends, with adjustments for the remaining months of the fiscal year (3+9 forecasting).
  • Develop a comprehensive 3-year budget plan that aligns operational and capital expenditure goals with organizational objectives.
  • Identify key drivers influencing future expenditures, ensuring sustainable growth and cost-effective use of resources.
  • Monitor and report variances between actuals and forecasts, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Perform liquidity analysis to assess the company's ability to meet short-term financial obligations.
  • Analyze and monitor cash burn rates to optimize operational spending and ensure financial sustainability.
  • Create and maintain detailed financial reports that include budget forecasts, liquidity analysis, KPI metrics, and performance summaries for management.
  • Monitor financial risks and propose strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals and to gather data and refine both short-term forecasts and long-term budgets.
  • Perform other related duties as required.


Position Requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree or CFA certification is a plus).
  • A minimum of 6 years of proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or specialized software).
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and investment strategies.
  • Experience in a public company is considered a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Office Environment; with occasional exposure to shop environment

  • Must be authorized to work in the US
