Toll Brothers, America's Luxury Home Builder, has an opportunity for a top-notch Data Governance Manager to join our team at our corporate office in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Data Governance Manager to join our Data Governance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the Data Governance program across the organization. This role will act as the primary point of contact for Data Governance initiatives, ensuring that policies, procedures, and standards are effectively implemented. This person will also mentor and guide the Data Governance Analysts and collaborate with various business units to ensure Data Governance alignment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Data Governance program, ensuring policies, standards, and practices are adhered to across the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, functional leaders, and IT teams (Enterprise Data Systems) to define and implement Data Governance strategies.
  • Oversee the execution of Data Governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage data steward programs and ensure consistent enforcement of Data Governance principles.
  • Conduct data quality assessments and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate the development and maintenance of Data Governance documentation.
  • Lead the implementation of Data Governance tools and technologies to support governance initiatives.
  • Provide training and guidance to data stewards, analysts, and other stakeholders on Data Governance processes and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Data Privacy and Data Security teams on initiatives and policies.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the Data Governance program and provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Do you have these qualifications?
  • Essential:
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, data management, or related roles, with a focus on leadership or coordination.
    • Strong knowledge of Data Governance frameworks, data quality, metadata management, and data stewardship.
    • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving data governance initiatives.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
    • Familiarity with Data Governance frameworks and best practices.
    • Solid understanding of data analysis techniques and statistics.
    • Experience working with large datasets and preparing them for analysis.
    • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Preferred
    • Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
    • Experience with data warehousing or ETL processes.
    • Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica) is a plus.
    • Understanding of regulatory requirements related to data privacy and security.
