POSITION SUMMARY:

The EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Contracts) Manager for North America will work closely with EPCs during the pre-planning and planning stages of projects before the bidding phase. This dedicated role will allow us to help ensure that ProMinent is being named during the specification process.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new EPC opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with EPCs.
  • Negotiate contracts and close business deals that align with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing and engineering to ensure that ProMinent is being named in the "Pre-Planning" & "Planning" specification stages.
  • Ensure proper tools such as literature, drawings, specifications, technical support, etc. is in place and kept updated to keep ProMinent front of mind and easy to work with in regards to EPCs and Design Institutes in various stages of specification determination for projects.
  • Be familiar with IIR to identify projects and opportunities and utilize Salesforce to manage those opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and financial forecasts to senior management.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing EPC projects, preferably in the water treatment industry.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in the EPC industry.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize accordingly.
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with EPCs.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations.
  • Travel expected @ 40-60%
