Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engage with and educate potential referral sources about the benefits and services provided by our hospice care, ensuring a deep understanding of our compassionate care offerings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, nursing facilities, and other healthcare professionals to increase referrals and admission rates.
- Implement strategic marketing and sales plans to expand our hospice care reach within the assigned territory.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust outreach strategies accordingly.
- Regularly attend networking events, conferences, and seminars to promote hospice services and educational activities.
- Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to ensure seamless patient admissions and high-quality service delivery.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of direct experience in Hospice or Home Health sales.
- Resident of the local area with established connections and a strong network among healthcare providers.
- Strong familiarity with Contact Management software and proficient in utilizing CRM tools to track and report on referral activity.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity.
- Stable work history with verifiable and outstanding performance metrics in previous roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of hospice care regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on persuasive tactics and negotiation.
- Experience with market analysis and strategic sales planning in the healthcare industry.
