Project Manager - Hybrid

Job Description:
As a Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex IT projects within the client's Asset Management Division. This role requires hands-on project coordination, team leadership, and adherence to the client's Standard for Project Management across all project phases. The successful candidate will manage cross-functional teams, ensure governance compliance, and drive project milestones within budget and schedule constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical project efforts through all phases: Preselect, Initiation, Planning, Execution and Control, and Closeout
• Coordinate with IT management and staff for resource planning and task assignments
• Serve as a hands-on project manager working closely with development teams and business groups
• Facilitate collaboration among multi-functional technical teams and business stakeholders
• Manage vendor, consultant, and contractor relationships, including contract execution and procurement coordination
• Maintain project documentation, including plans, budgets, schedules, risk logs, and status reports
• Ensure alignment with client and project management governance standards
• Oversee requirements gathering, use case documentation, and design workshops
• Coordinate development of test objectives, test plans, and test cases
• Track and report on project progress using clearly defined metrics and deliverables
• Support system and application training efforts during project rollout
• Ensure timely and within-budget project completion by managing scope, quality, and timelines

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Extensive experience managing complex technical IT projects using structured project management frameworks
• Strong understanding of the client's Standard for Project Management methodologies
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to manage expectations and share progress
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor contracts and collaborate with procurement offices
• Experience preparing technical documentation, facilitating workshops, and supporting testing processes
• Proficiency with project tracking tools and performance reporting using defined metrics
• Ability to manage risks, maintain compliance with project governance, and adjust plans proactively
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle aggressive delivery schedules
• Experience supporting enterprise application deployments and related training activities

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
