GENERAL
DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a business analyst with strong Learning Management System (LMS) knowledge and business
analysis (BA) skills, including LMS administration, testing, requirements
traceability, training, and general functional support skills.
We are implementing Workday HCM for 70,000 state employees,
replacing PeopleSoft HCM. This resource
would primarily provide project business analysis support for the
implementation of a statewide learning platform. This involves data conversion from legacy LMS
platforms to Workday. This resource may
also be assigned to support other HCM modules including Talent, Compensation,
Benefits, and/or Core HR functions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role of the LMS Business Analyst
will:
Review and resolve data conversion issues to successfully map data
from legacy LMS to Workday.
Employ
validation techniques to ensure success in data conversion.
Develop test plans and scripts, and test new or upgraded
technology.
Provide user support and
training.
Create user support guides and other supporting documentation as
required.
Provide incident support and communicate software issues to the
appropriate personnel.
Serve as a liaison between assigned business units of DOAS and the
technical team to provide technical support.
REQUIRED
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong data analysis
skills.
Advanced knowledge in MS Excel, SQL,
and/or data analysis tools.
Effective written
and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational
skills.
Ability to present and document high quality, detailed
deliverables.
MINIMUM
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
Four years' experience implementing and/or administering
Learning Management Systems. Direct
experience in a large-scale data conversion.
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience implementing or supporting Workday
HCM.
Prior experience with PeopleSoft HCM.
Experience
supporting technology in the public sector.
