Theo is a fast-growing performance media agency headquartered in Portland, Oregon. We help local and national brands across a wide range of industries advance their marketing practices through methodical, creative, and technology-driven marketing activations.

Key Responsibilities

Cross-functional, digital marketing team management
  • Understand agency services and key responsibilities for cross-functional teams - including performance marketing, analytics, creative, content, UX and dev.
  • Develop data-driven, integrated marketing strategies across all teams to support client objectives.
  • Work with analytics and performance marketing teams to track budgets and develop performance insights and recommendations for clients.
  • Lead internal team huddles, facilitating strategic conversations and team collaboration.
  • Identify any potential team issues and ensure expectations are clear, realistic, and communicated.
  • Partner with performance media and analytics leads to build test-and-learn roadmaps, identify insights, and recommend next steps.

Client relationship management:
  • Act as the main point of contact and develop strong client relationships with proactive and timely communication.
  • Lead weekly status meetings and ongoing reporting with clarity and confidence.
  • Understand client business and marketing objectives and ensure the client's needs and requirements are represented during strategy and planning formation.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and the agency; communicate client expectations and make sure they are defined and documented to internal teams.

Project management
  • Understand and manage client scope and billing process.
  • Delegate across teams for projects, working with internal teams to create clear project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Manage multiple client accounts and projects via project management software (Asana) and oversee all final deliverables.

Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and evolve strategic roadmaps and testing plans that connect marketing execution to client business goals.
  • Shape strategic approaches that guide cross-channel execution and drive measurable growth.
  • Identify trends and emerging opportunities across channels and audiences to inform ongoing planning.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 2-4 years of professional, client management experience in a digital marketing-related industry, preferably at an agency.
  • Digital marketing and lead generation expertise
    • Experience with digital marketing channels including search, social media and other lead generation tactics.
    • Ability to track KPIs and analyze performance to provide actionable insights.
    • Proficiency with tools like Google Ads, GA4, Facebook Ads Manager, analytics tools, VWO or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage integrated marketing strategies.
  • Excellent client-relationship building and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience
  • Management experience is a plus
  • Ability to interface with C-suite and executive clients and to translate technical concepts into client-friendly language.
