We're seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our growing team and lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise-wide network infrastructure. This newly created role supports our organization's expansion and will be pivotal in shaping our technical capabilities moving forward.

We're seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our growing team and lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise-wide network infrastructure. This newly created role supports our organization's expansion and will be pivotal in shaping our technical capabilities moving forward.
THE IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE
- Architect and Deploy Enterprise Networks - Design scalable LAN/WAN infrastructures across multi-site environments using VLANs, routing protocols, and high-availability configurations
- Manage Critical Security Infrastructure - Administer WatchGuard firewalls, implement security policies, and maintain our VPN infrastructure to keep our organization protected
- Lead Voice Network Engineering - Ensure seamless SIP-based communications with proper QoS implementation and troubleshooting expertise
- Support Data Center Resilience - Collaborate with infrastructure teams on VMware networking, storage access, and virtualization needs
- Drive Network Monitoring & Documentation - Utilize enterprise tools to maintain visibility while keeping comprehensive network documentation current
WHO YOU ARE
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise environments
- Deep expertise with routing protocols (OSPF, RIP), switching technologies, and Layer 2/3 implementations
- Strong background with WatchGuard firewalls, UniFi/Dell switching, and VPN technologies
- Experience with VoIP/SIP, including NAT traversal, QoS, and SBC integration
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Relevant certifications like CCNP, Network+, or WatchGuard Certified Network Professional (preferred)
- The ability to lead during critical incidents and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
OTHER:
- Full-time position based at our Sterling Heights office
- Participation in on-call rotation for network-related incidents
- Occasional travel to branch or data center locations
