POSITION OVERVIEW
Providing leadership of Air Inuit's Stores department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining the appearance and efficient operations of the stores
- Work closely with purchasing team to coordinate the receiving of any products
- Reach out to different carrier and request quotes for different shipments by providing a comparison which will help ensure the cost-effective choice and use of outside transport, forwarding and customs agents
- Communicate with the different stakeholders as required. (Sales team, Production team
- Oversee all shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders
- Manage stores staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency to reduce costs and increase productivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve shipping/receiving discrepancies
- Ensure compliance and training in regard to shipping of dangerous goods
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and cycle counting
- Other projects as assigned by the VP Maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years' experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse management.
- High school diploma required; a degree in logistics or supply chain management is an asset.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Must be available for occasional travel on Air Inuit's network and/or to supplier/conference sites.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
- Situated in Montreal, Quebec
- 37.5 hrs per week (Modified work weeks are offered to help our employees balance work and personal life)
COMPENSATION
- Compensation and benefits are determined in accordance with corporate policy.
- Salary range $62,918 - $100,547
