This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic finance professional with deep industry experience to influence growth, ensure fiscal stability, and help scale operations as the company continues its aggressive expansion across the residential, commercial, industrial, and government sectors.
The CFO will play a pivotal role in steering financial strategy, overseeing capital planning, risk management, compliance, and performance reporting while supporting operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all financial operations
  • Develop and oversee financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes
  • Lead cash flow management, capital allocation, and financial reporting
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variance
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax laws, insurance requirements, and industry-specific regulations
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term strategic planning and mergers/acquisitions
  • Lead risk assessment, mitigation strategy development, and internal controls
  • Evaluate and manage company investments and capital expenditures
  • Oversee payroll, auditing, and procurement systems
  • Mentor and develop finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of accountability and growth
  • Represent the financial interests of the company to banks, investors, insurance providers, and regulatory bodies


Qualifications
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership, ideally within construction or infrastructure industries
  • Strong experience in heavy civil, highway, or large-scale sitework contracting preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; CPA or MBA highly desirable
  • Deep knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, tax strategy, and audit practices
  • Familiarity with industry software platforms (e.g., Viewpoint, HCSS, Foundation, Sage) a plus
  • Proven ability to lead organizational change, manage teams, and implement systems
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Track record of delivering results and strategic recommendations to executives and boards
  • Valid driver's license; willingness to attend industry events and travel for business as needed

  • Flexibility required for leadership meetings, strategic reviews, and occasional travel
