The Document Control Lead will establish procedures and coordinates all documentation activities to meet the company's technical objectives related to design and construction. Additionally, they support the team to deliver a successful project on time, on budget, within company requirements and client obligations from a technical point of view in safety, health, environment, and quality. They also distribute information and technical documentation to third parties working on the project to ensure that the work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, design instructions. They will also provide document management support to the construction activities

Job Description
- Responsible for the Document management of the project.
- Coordinates with Client and other third parties to resolve document control issues to obtain final approval of the executed works.
- Contributes to a workable document management system necessary to satisfy contract, procurement, and construction requirements.
- Manages all contracts related to Document Control management if applicable.
- Identifies document control risks and participates in the preparation of risk reports if required.
- Provides input in the review of the Project budget forecasts, providing the necessary technical part for its realization.
- Establishes and implements the document management strategy and other technical procedures for the project.
- Support in the execution stage.
- Guarantees an adequate organizational structure in document management, as well as its interface with other departments.
- Advises/participates in the formalization of contracts with software companies.
- Guarantees the correct transmission of design, construction and commercial information to the entire project team.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Proven experience as Document Lead for heavy civil construction projects.
- Excellent technical, communication, organizational, management and planning skills.
- Knowledge of ACONEX or other similar software programs for document controlling.
- Excellent people and leadership skills.
- Excellent solving problems/analysis.
- Comfortable in working to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment is a plus.
