As a Sr. DRAM Business Operations Manager in the Core Data Center Business Unit (CDBU) at Micron, you will oversee product lifecycle management while also contributing individually through data collection, analysis, and business reporting!

Leading a team, you will drive operational efficiency, supervise key performance metrics, and collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing Planning, Demand Management, and Sales Operations. Your role will be integral in guiding business decisions, ensuring strategic alignment, and providing mentorship within the business unit!

DRAM Team Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  • New Product Introduction/HVM handout/EOL for DRAM
    • Coordinating the direction of sample shipments to designated customers by working with PDT Team, NPI samples planning, POM team, and Order Fulfillment.
    • Tracking qualification and transition of DRAM Programs from NPI to HVM across the supply chain network.
    • Creating, monitoring, updating, and retiring part numbers as needed.
    • Communicating engineering/QS sample schedules for customer orders and availability with internal teams.
    • Making priority customer support decisions when early sample availability is limited.
    • Collaborating with Marketing on PCN (Product Change Notification) creations and communication to external customers.
  • Providing Analysis on Current Quarter Metrics
    • Creating and maintaining reports or spreadsheets to supervise current quarter metrics on CDBU DRAM product lines, presenting/discussing this data to PLM team during weekly meetings.
    • Tracking and documenting component risks and opportunities to discuss potential PSP changes on bi-weekly DRAM component sync call.
    • Providing analysis and direction on key business decisions within the manufacturing planning process to ensure the accurate product is built for the customers that we plan to support.
    • Working with BU Sales and other cross functional groups to identify and understand any potential and existing business problems.
    • Where vital, develop reports to reflect business or product trends within assigned accounts for review by Sales, PLMs, and BU Management.
  • Material level systems integrity
    • SAP part number creation and life cycle maintenance.
    • CCR (Customer Containment Rule) maintenance. Collaborating with the QMO team to create and implement crucial customer requirement rules.
  • Inventory Management
    • Working with DRAM supply chain and Core Memory Business Unit (CMBU) inventory teams to identify pockets of growing inventory and providing guidance on disposition of that material.
    • Aligning with the inventory team, CMBU and Supply Chain build strategy and safety stock.
    • Provide detailed analysis to the CCO team on inventory attributes, so we can move aging impaired material optimally to our channel customers.
  • Manufacturing Execution
    • Excursion management and alignment across key groups (MRB Support, etc.)
    • Coordinate capacity site transitions to allow for smooth customer transitions across all Business Units.
    • Coordinate with S&OP, Mfg and DEG to minimize small lots and improve manufacturability.
    • Coordinate and drive CCB process in accordance with BU priorities.
  • Business Unit Guidance
    • Working closely with Supply Chain Planning and CMBU to attain uninterrupted supply for key customers.
    • Ensuring all relevant customer information is completely and communicated through the correct channels.
    • Working with a long-term perspective to address customers' needs.
    • Proactively working to streamline processes and systems to ensure first class customer service.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help efficiently EOL DRAM programs by minimizing scrap while still supporting our customers' needs.


Qualifications/Skills Requested:
  • BA or BS Degree
  • 7+ Years of experience in business or related capacity
  • Energetic, self-starting collaborator
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capable of presenting to Micron executives
  • Proficient in Power Point and Excel
  • Good with digesting large amounts of data and turning it into information
  • Comfortable working with reporting platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or something similar)
