Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector is currently hiring a Program Manager 2 to join our E-2D Production Integrated Product Team (IPT) of qualified, diverse individuals on our Multi-Domain Command and Control (MDC2) Business Unit. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.

This E-2D Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of design, baselining, development, production, and delivery related to the specific programs associated with the current Production contract line items.

Key responsibilities of the Program Manager include, but are not limited to:
  • Supports IPT Lead with managing cost, schedule, and performance of E-2D Production program contracts, focusing initially on NRE and recurring avionics programs with growth to other programs in the future
  • Ownership of projects and budgets, managing schedules, and ensuring all contractual technical requirements are met
  • Assesses project and program issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals
  • Develops metrics for monitoring the health of project progress and for intervention and problem solving with Senior IPT Leadership, Sub IPT Leads and the Functional Homerooms


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master's degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below
  • Related experience includes professional and/or military experience including a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management-related functions
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance last investigated within 6 years or enrolled in continuous evaluation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a special access program (SAP)
  • Willingness/Ability to travel up to 25% of time


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with engineering development, supporting platforms like E-2D
  • Experience with Earned Value Management
  • Experience managing program/projects of > $20 Million / year with P&L responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience meeting customer needs, building strong relationships with strategic partners and guiding program teams and support functions to take action to satisfy customer expectations


Salary Range: $135,100.00 - $202,700.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
