Overview of the Senior Product Manager:
BETA is a self-clearing securities processing solution for wealth management firms. Built on years of expert knowledge and hands-on experience, BETA provides critical back-office controls including corporate action management, middle office exception management, and front office account management and trading tools for advisors.
We're in search of an experienced leader with Financial Services background. The Senior Product Manager will operate in a fast-paced environment to refine our product strategy and collaborate with Engineering teams and other stakeholders to grow our suite of products. You will guide a team of product managers to translate product vision into prioritized backlogs to achieve the highest value. The ideal candidate will be able to navigate from executive level conversations to day-to-day decisions and balance creativity and innovation with real delivery timelines.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Senior Product Manager:

- Build a deep understanding of our clients and the solutions that solve their business needs
- Partner with stakeholders and team members to craft the product vision, strategy, and roadmaps
- Define clear value-based outcomes which translate into team objectives and product roadmaps
- Collaborate cross functionally and provide leadership for major initiatives and complex projects
- Provide the team support, focus and motivation to execute, looking for continual improvement and high standards of performance.
- Drive the continuous improvement, implementation, and execution of the Product Development Lifecycle through collaboration with peers and the wider organization, seeking best practices and efficiencies
- Collaborate with Sales and Relationship Management to represent products and roadmaps within the domain to existing clients and prospective logos
- Oversee and communicate progress against roadmaps, backlogs, and releases
- Create business cases deliver new value within products
- Identify and assess market challenges and opportunities
- Align with Relationship Management to identify strategic direction and immediate needs for existing clients
- Understand and contribute to Sales team initiatives and prospective logos
- Contribute to product announcements and marketing materials
- Recommend future focused solutions thinking beyond existing products and anticipating client needs before requests are made
Skills and Experience of the Senior Product Manager:
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in financial services software delivery and/or Brokerage Clearing Operations
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of leading high-performing teams
- Ability to translate business requirements and market needs into a successful product vision
- Drive to continually assess and validate existing products and solutions to fine tune future direction
- Possess the skills to lead a large group under complex situations to clarity and focus
- Talent to absorb large amounts of new information and communicate to a cross functional audience
- Entrepreneurial spirit - ready to take on new challenges in a fast-paced high growth environment
- Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle, best practices and Agile Software Development
