As Executive Chef, you'll be the creative force behind a culinary program designed to surprise, comfort, and quietly impress - from beautiful breakfasts to elegant private dinners and refined, wellness-forward snacks. About the Role:

This is a role for a culinary leader who thrives in intimate, high-touch settings. With a focus on personalization, seasonality, and understated elegance, you'll craft each menu and beverage offering with care - from a rotating made-to-order breakfast to afternoon light fare and the occasional multi-course seated dinner or cocktail reception. Your work will help define the soul of the guest experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Curate a daily made-to-order breakfast menu centered on seasonality, wellness, and thoughtful presentation
  • Prepare light afternoon offerings, curated pantry snacks, and elegant evening plates
  • Design and execute bespoke dinners and private events with creative, elevated menus
  • Oversee all back-of-house operations including prep, inventory, cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen organization
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver seamless and exceptional service
  • Work in partnership with the General Manager to ensure a cohesive and elevated guest journey
  • Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships focused on premium sourcing and sustainability
  • Manage purchasing, kitchen scheduling, and budgets with a focus on quality, food safety, and efficiency

Requirements

What You Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or boutique culinary environments
  • A refined culinary point of view with a deep appreciation for subtlety, balance, and seasonality
  • A passion for creating bespoke culinary moments that reflect thought, care, and place
  • A collaborative and humble leadership style with a commitment to mentoring a small team
  • Strong kitchen operations expertise, including cleanliness, organization, and food safety
  • Familiarity with dietary accommodations and wellness-forward cuisine
  • Comfort with wines, cocktails, and innovative specialty beverages
  • Independent, innovative, flexible, and agile

Preferred:
  • Experience in exclusive-use properties, private inns, or luxury residences
  • Comfort designing bespoke menus for intimate groups and flexible service styles
  • Knowledge of plant-forward, nutritional, or global-inspired cooking
  • Familiarity with the standards of luxury hospitality brands such as Relais & Chteaux or Auberge
