Senior Tax Accountant - Certified Public Accountant

Salary: $95,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex tax projects ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Manage tax preparations, planning, and projections for a diverse clientele
  • Analyze and review complex tax returns to maximize client benefits and minimize liabilities
  • Conduct in-depth tax research and respond to inquiries with effective solutions and strategic advice
  • Oversee the accounting procedures, ensure financial reporting accuracy, and enhance internal controls
  • Mentor and guide junior staff, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Participate in strategic discussions with partners to drive client growth and operational enhancements

Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Must hold a current CPA certification
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, focused on tax services
  • Robust knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
  • Proven experience with tax compliance, risk assessments, and establishing internal controls
  • Proficient with various accounting software and financial systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading a tax department or a significant tax-related project
  • Advanced certifications or continued education in tax law or financial planning
  • History of successful team leadership and management
