Position Overview:

Reporting to the VP, Marketing and Strategic Insights, the Marketing Director will lead marketing efforts for CIBC Mellon's next generation digital and asset servicing solutions, driving data-driven marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results. Marketing activities in scope include demand generation, digital product launch campaigns, pilots & demonstrations, internal/external education materials, sales collateral and other materials to support a complex b2b sales cycle. The role will also be responsible for leading marketing campaigns across paid, earned, owned and shared channels, advancing data driven measurement and lead generation programs, and supporting other marketing campaigns as needed.

Responsibilities:
Lead product marketing campaigns for current and emerging digital and data solutions.
Work cross-functionally to create and drive digital marketing campaigns for existing asset servicing solutions, including aligning across paid, shared and owned marketing channels to reach target audiences.
Analyze internal and external data, connecting across systems and business objectives to identify trends, measure performance and optimize marketing strategies.
Help identify, position and communicate enhancements and updates to products, services and technology systems with CIBC Mellon clients and prospects.
Strategy and creation of content formats, including sell sheets, talking points, presentations, infographics, social media content, event content, email campaigns, web content and other external marketing materials.
Identifies, validates and incorporates relevant intelligence regarding evolving client needs and competitor offerings to support creation of impactful sales/marketing materials.
Builds strong relationships across CIBC Mellon, BNY, CIBC, vendors, technology allies and more to align marketing materials to clients' interest areas.
Measure and report on effectiveness of marketing and engagement campaigns in achieving corporate goals.
Optimize lead generation, nurturing across the buyer lifecycle.
Advance account-based marketing programs.
Provide meaningful and actionable feedback and recommendations to executive and business leaders to support more effective marketing of enterprise products.
Provide mentorship and frequent guidance to team members and client-facing employees to advise on marketing and communications best practices.
Work collaboratively with content marketing, product marketing and digital marketing colleagues on omnichannel campaigns, including delivery of MQLs to client-facing leaders.
Support communications and marketing activities, including events, social media, and content marketing as required.

Qualifications:
7-10 years experience in complex technology-centric b2b marketing / product marketing (e.g. technology firm, B2B SaaS, startup).
Previous experience with demand generation technologies (e.g. Salesforce Sales/Marketing Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics, Marketo)
University or college degree or post-graduate certificate with focus on marketing or equivalent experience
Strong eye for visual presentation, digital and visual storytelling.
Strong command of Microsoft Office suite.
Effective written and oral communication skills, able to act as an influencer and manage up/across a complex organization as well as support internal education on complex materials.
Works with minimal supervision across multiple project modes, identifying and executing on opportunities to achieve goals. Takes initiative to make things better.
French language skills an asset.
