Description

Hospital is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented X-ray Technician to join our dynamic Radiology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment, ensuring high-quality images and patient care.

• Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients for radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Ensure proper functioning and cleanliness of imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
• Adhere to all HIPAA and infection control regulations.
• Provide clear communication to patients to ensure understanding and comfort during procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
• Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association.
• Valid Georgia Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-volume environment.
