We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team of professionals. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for direct analytical support. Key activities include analyzing business unit performance (financial and non-financial), operating and improving financial models that generate financial forecasts and business cases, building rapport with and directly supporting management in the field, and making recommendations that drive results.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyze performance drivers: Deliver timely variance, trend, and root-cause analyses across revenue, service line, cost, and activity metrics, translating insights into clear recommendations.
  • Advise operations leaders: Benchmark results, pinpoint value-creation opportunities, and explain financial nuance to non-technical teams, driving process changes, cost reduction, and resource optimization.
  • Own forecasting tools: Update and refine models that power annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and ad-hoc business cases, ensuring assumptions stay aligned with business realities.
  • Automate & visualize: Build lightweight automations (e.g., Excel macros, simple SQL views) and craft dashboards/reports that sharpen decision-making and cut manual effort.
  • Create executive deliverables: Produce crisp slides, talking points, and ad-hoc analyses for quarterly business reviews, board updates, and other senior-level presentations.
  • Cultivate collaboration: Maintain strong relationships with peers and leadership, flexing to occasional non-traditional hours to meet critical deadlines in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field; MBA a plus
  • 1-3 years in FP&A, corporate finance, data analytics, or other applicable work experience (internships count), experience at a professional services business a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills e.g. pivot tables, lookups, indexes, and large data set manipulation
  • Strong understanding of P&L fundamentals and cost drivers
  • Personable, and able to clearly communicate financial topics to people outside of the Finance organization
  • Self-starter with a bent toward creative analysis and natural curiosity
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and enterprise data warehouse operations
  • Prior experience with Business Intelligence tools such as TM1, Power BI, and Tableau
  • Comfortable working in a growing and changing organization
  • Computer proficiency within a Microsoft Office environment required (high-level competency within Excel), as well the ability to successfully learn and subsequently maneuver within internal business applications

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000
