We have an immediate opening for a Semiconductor Account Manager. The responsibility of the Semiconductor Account Manager is to serve as the primary point of contact between EFC Gases & Advanced Materials and its semiconductor and technical accounts. It is their task to ensure the continuation of holistic healthy client relationships, new product development/introduction and growth of the business. EFC is a well-established and recognized business in the Specialty Gases and Chemicals business. Accounts are located both domestically and internationally. The Semiconductor Account Manager will focus on developing relationships at all levels of the accounts, from commercial buyers to key operations personnel and management. This role will also advise EFC management on key strategies within the accounts to grow business from both organic and acquired businesses.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the outcomes of the specific accounts within EFC's key accounts portfolio.
Achieve assigned strategic account objectives.
Establish strong, long-term and contracted client relationships.
Communicate with major clients on a regular basis and respond to specific queries.
Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs.
Handle complaints and problems in a timely and effective manner.
Act as the liaison between key customers and internal teams.
Identify and approach new potential customers.
Monitor sales performance metrics.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and forecasts.
Continually gather and monitor information on competition and market trends; communicate information as needed.
Oversee the preparation of sales proposals and tools; participate in sales presentations.
Understand and communicate information regarding company products, services, policies and procedures.
Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of fluorocarbons and specialty gases product and sales information.
Participate in regular onsite visits at all responsible accounts.
Long term goal to turn standard accounts into Strategic Accounts (>$2M annual sales).
Performs other related duties as assigned or needed.
QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, plus 3 years of specialty gas or chemicals operations or quality experience and preferred 1 year of semiconductor commercial experience.
Proven work experience as an account manager or similar semiconductor commercial experience.
Established sales experience in B2B environment.
Hands on experience with CRM software and Account management systems preferred.
Understanding of sales performance metrics.
An ability to address customer requests in a timely manner.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships.
Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.

Experience and ability to travel both domestically and possibly internationally as needed.
Expected travel up to 30%.
