Position Summary
The Manager Front Store Financial Planning & Reporting is responsible for the development of annual category budgets and for the monthly management of an accurate category forecast in partnership with Category Managers and other support groups.
In this independent contributor role, this Manager will work simultaneously across multiple categories totaling approximately $4 to $5 billion in Revenue, providing multiple Category Managers, Executive Directors (DMMs) and VPs (VPMMs) with analyses, insight into trends and recommendations for actions to maximize revenue, gross margin and GMROII.
The Manager will be responsible for all ad hoc analyses that will be impactful the to the P&L for their respective categories. Also, he/she will execute frequent deep dives into trend analytics as well as anomaly diagnostics will be required.
The Manager will assist the Director by working with different Merchandising support groups to pressure test the financial efficacy of business driving initiatives and understand how it will integrate with the regular Front Store business operation. This will be in addition to category planning responsibilities.
They will operate with a continuous improvement mindset looking for opportunities to improve process inefficiencies, simplify data visibility, and champion modern BI Tools within the Front Store Planning & Reporting group.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Required Qualifications
- 3 + years of overall retail experience in Planning/Allocation and or Merchandising or 5 plus years of Retail or CPG industry experience with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- 5+ years Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience communicating effectively across many levels within the organization, including Executive Directors (DMMs) and VPs (VPMM).
- Experience influencing decisions by creating a strong case for action, using analytical findings based on a strong financial acumen
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Cost Accounting.
- Knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Merchandise Planning systems and data queries (Such as JDA, ThoughtSpot and MicroStrategy)
- Advanced analytical Skills.
- Strong Organizational and Time Management skills.
- Team Building Skills: ability to partner across departments to drive decisions.
