The University of South Carolina's Athletics Department is looking for a Head Diving Coach. The position will report to the Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Head Coach and will assist in the planning, recruiting, coaching, developing, implementing, communication and administering of program to achieve University and Department objectives. Will assist in the direction and control of the program in accordance with NCAA, SEC and University rules and regulations.

Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
Preferred Qualifications
Division I coaching experience preferred, experience implementing a successful recruiting plan strongly preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Extensive and technical knowledge of the sport. Ability to communicate effectively with recruits, students, parents, staff and members of the fan base and community.

Maintain open communication with Academic staff as it relates to student-athletes' academic progress and any needs in that area. Monitor students' adherence to study hall and tutor assignments, class attendance and APR progress guidelines for graduation and eligibility.
Maintain communication with team physicians as it relates to any injuries, rehab and overall safety and health of student-athletes. Perform any administrative duties needed in the areas of scheduling, team travel, recruiting travel, official and unofficial visits, etc. Other duties as assigned by Head Coach.
