Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Director to lead and grow our brand client Olympic partnerships. This position requires a deep knowledge of the Movement, a strong-track record of partnership marketing and first-hand experience navigating complex category rights.
This role will leverage quantitative and qualitative research, industry expertise, and client-specific nuances to craft strategic Olympic partnership recommendations that feature strategic decision-making tools, specific recommendations, creative and activation guidelines and a measurement framework. This role will also work closely with the client team to "look around the corner" and anticipate the needs of the business and new whitespace opportunities for the client's Olympic partnership, fan experience, partner execution, or a new lane where they see the marketplace trends moving.
You will excel in this role if you are strategic, data-led, self-motivated, proactive, curious, collaborative, creative, natural relationship manager and can apply your expertise and knowledge of Olympics and passion for helping advance brands objectives.
Responsibilities:
Develop strong and trusting relationship with our client. Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact and trusted resource, proactively anticipating client needs and diligently managing action items. Lead the development of detailed client scope(s) and related project plans that transform client conversations into detailed blueprints for project structure and execution. Synthesize data and research findings across various custom and syndicated sources to build influential storylines and presentations (e.g. strategic plans, market landscapes, valuations, etc.) Provide senior guidance on POV(s), intelligence and marketing deliverables. Understand the client context at a fundamental and strategic level to be able to make recommendations on sponsorship partners, contractual assets, and new opportunities Leads regular client status meetings to keep the client informed and to receive direction on new and existing projects and initiatives. Manages internal team, guiding them on deliverables, and ensuring best practices. With minimal oversight, lead consulting client projects and relationships in their entirety from initial scope to final deliverable, determining milestones and outputs while working collaboratively with team members
Skills/Qualifications:
Base salary range: $130,000 - $140,000, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role

Skills/Qualifications:
- 11+ years of relevant experience with a minimum of 6 years of direct experience in account and project management (preferably in the sports or entertainment field).
- Able to demonstrate expertise and/or deep understanding of the Olympic movement.
- Deep understanding of and passion for the business of sport & entertainment,
- Experience in managing and supporting strategic alliances and/or marketing partnerships in a Fortune 500 setting.
- Well-developed analytical capabilities, particularly in valuing and measuring sponsorships.
- Superior interpersonal skills for the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of client relationships.
- Able to plan and execute projects with minimal direction and a high level of initiative, working well independently and in a team environment.
- Strategically minded with strong problem-solving skills and an ability to synthesize large amounts of data.
- Effective negotiation skills and familiarity with the contractual language.
- Working knowledge of project management fundamentals, including supervision of and delegation to multiple direct reports.
- High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel for deck development and data management.
