Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead representation in antidumping, countervailing, and safeguard duty proceedings.
- Oversee customs compliance and enforcement matters, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide expert advice on export controls, including EAR, ITAR, and OFAC-related issues.
- Handle national security regulatory matters, particularly CFIUS filings and reviews.
- Build and strengthen client relationships through exceptional service and strategic guidance.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled attorneys to deliver integrated international trade services.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Active Bar Admission in Washington, DC.
- Minimum of 5 years of substantive experience in trade remedies and customs matters.
- Proven capabilities in verbal, analytical, and writing skills.
- Required experience in antidumping, countervailing, safeguard duty proceedings, and customs compliance and enforcement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with export control regulations including EAR, ITAR.
- Experience with OFAC sanctions and CFIUS matters is highly regarded.
- Candidates with a more extensive background or portfolio in relevant areas are considered a plus.
- Partners with business and a client-following in the international trade area are encouraged to apply.
