Job Description:
A Senior Network Engineer-III is responsible for ongoing network operations and project support.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience of networking technologies, such as routing including hand on experience on running routing protocol like BGP, EIGRP and OSPF; Load balancer (F5), switching, wireless networking, Cisco ACI, Fortinet SD-WAN, Aviatrix Cloud; managing heterogeneous environment & generate metrics related to Network performance, capacity, availability, and will also have a strong background in network performance management, service delivery and strategic operations planning with a strong technical orientation & creative in problem solving.

Key responsibilities include:
- This is a hands-on technical role.
- Provide tier 3+ (professional level) operational/Project support to resolve critical business issues that require deep network troubleshooting techniques and performance analysis.
- Independently own the Network Infrastructure support, solving complex issues and suggesting design modifications as appropriate.
- The resource must have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Cisco Routing and Switching.
- Resource must have experience in LAN switching, including troubleshooting various LAN-related issues such as VTP and STP. They should know how to perform packet capture on multiple platforms and be able to analyze the captured data.
- Must have been working on multiple routing technologies and should be able to resolve issues related to BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
- Knowledge of maintaining DHCP servers.
- Must configure Cisco Switches, Routers, and Wireless devices.
- Perform change controls and Update process documentation and team portals.
- Participate in troubleshooting, capacity planning, analysis, performance analysis & and Root Cause Analysis.
- Perform monitoring and maintenance of the overall environment, working with experienced team members.
- Communicate with peers and managers regarding system issues and participate in operational and project calls.
- Automate operational tasks to make processes more straightforward and robust. Ability to handle multiple complex tasks in a dynamic environment, with tight deadlines concurrently.
- Manage network service providers and matrixed resources.
- Refresh heat maps, create Visio diagrams, and develop operations plans for campus networks, as well as all WAN, LAN, SD-WAN connectivity, and Cloud integrations.
- Monitor and analyze statistical data to develop plans for improving network and application performance.
