As a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) on the Defect Elimination Analytics team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of customer satisfaction by leveraging data to rapidly identify defects, understand their root causes, and prioritize improvement opportunities based on real business and customer needs. In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, automated, and user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards that provide crucial insights into customer feedback and product performance.
- Partner directly with operations, business, economist, and Machine Learning (ML) teams to define and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), develop automated reporting and process solutions, and drive data infrastructure improvements that directly address business needs. This includes the opportunity to influence product development and answer key strategic questions in collaboration with product owners.
- Be at the forefront of developing end-to-end automation of data pipelines that power critical applications and ML models.
- Apply your strong analytical skills to extract meaningful insights and learnings from large and complex datasets, turning raw data into actionable intelligence.
- Serve as a key liaison between business and technical teams, utilizing your data gathering, problem-solving, modeling, and communication skills to achieve project objectives and drive impactful recommendations.
- Gain valuable experience with advanced big data technologies and collaborate with scientists on global issue detection models involving statistical, machine learning, and AI techniques.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
- Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
- Experience applying basic statistical methods (e.g. regression) to difficult business problems
- Bachelor's degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree
- Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
- Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis
