.Net Architect - Remote

Job Description:
As a .Net Architect, you will guide the development team in delivering robust software solutions that meet client requirements. This role involves leading software design, collaborating across technical and non-technical teams, conducting code reviews with junior developers, and ensuring the alignment of development practices with best architectural standards. You will create technical blueprints, set coding standards, and be responsible for the final quality of enterprise-grade applications. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and full-stack development skills with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define functional and technical requirements
• Architect and develop both front-end and back-end components of client/server applications
• Lead design and code reviews while mentoring junior developers
• Define standards for coding, architecture, security, and testing across projects
• Design and deliver high-level specifications with system integration feasibility
• Ensure project milestones align with technical design and quality goals
• Utilize tools and methodologies to build intuitive user interface designs
• Drive adoption of modern client-side frameworks, libraries, and tools
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to design consistency and deadlines
• Provide hands-on leadership in software troubleshooting, testing, and optimization

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of experience developing enterprise-level software applications
• 7+ years in software architecture and design with a focus on scalability and performance
• In-depth experience with .NET, C#, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Strong experience with UML and software modeling methodologies
• Expertise with OpenText products including Content Manager and Enterprise Scan
• Solid understanding of software application-database interactions and data structures
• Deep knowledge of DevOps, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, security, and cloud-native architectures
• Effective communicator capable of explaining complex concepts to various audiences
• Independent worker with consistent deadline delivery
• Skilled in mentoring and enforcing best development and testing practices
• Excellent presentation, organizational, and leadership abilities
• Strong passion for staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
