Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from a LinkedIn office on select days and from home, as determined by the business needs of the team.

This role can be based in San Francisco or Sunnyvale/Mountain View.

As the VP, Marketing of LinkedIn Sales Solutions (LSS), you'll have the opportunity to lead a team responsible for bringing to market one of the industry's leading sales technology platforms. Reporting to the Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer, you will partner closely with product and sales leadership to inform product strategy and drive top-line and bottom-line growth through online and field sales channels. You will lead a global team with responsibility across the entire marketing spectrum, including product marketing, brand, demand generation and content marketing.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, develop and inspire a 50+ person global team of marketers
  • Develop and execute the LSS marketing strategy to drive business growth and success on a global scale
  • Play an influential role on the Sales, Marketing and Product leadership teams
  • Own and drive all marketing functions and programs for the Sales Solutions businesses
  • Lead product marketing including audience segmentation, needs assessment and bringing the voice of the customer to inform product and go-to-market strategy
  • Develop the narrative for target audiences that will drive interest and engagement throughout the marketing funnel
  • Drive go-to-market strategy and programs including positioning, packaging, pricing, naming, field marketing and demand generation
  • Develop compelling content that secures LinkedIn as a thought leader in the industry
  • Achieve bookings goals and demonstrate the efficacy and value of marketing campaigns


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of marketing experience
  • 10+ years of leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated mastery of B2B marketing strategy and planning
  • Experience in the sales technology space and/or selling to CROs and sales leaders
  • Deep experience in product marketing and performance marketing
  • Skilled in go-to-market activities across online and offline distribution channels and integrated channel management
  • Experience leading demand generation for field sales
  • Track record of success leading digital and social marketing
  • Sophisticated ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders
  • Superb analytical ability
  • Reputation for being a gifted people leader of large teams, 50+ people
  • Demonstrated success in having a direct impact on business results and revenue

The pay range for this role is $253,000 to $395,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
