You will be responsible for ensuring the company's brand positioning, voice, and identity align with business goals, customer insights, and market trends. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, creative writing and leadership, as well as cross-functional collaboration to build and maintain a brand that stands out in a competitive marketplace.

This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, creative writing and leadership, as well as cross-functional collaboration to build and maintain a brand that stands out in a competitive marketplace.
You are responsible for:
- Brand Vision & Strategy
- Lead the development and execution of the brand strategy to elevate the company's position in the marketplace. Ensure the brand's vision, voice, messaging, and values are consistently represented across all touchpoints.
- Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand consumer behavior, competitor activities, and industry trends. Use insights to inform strategy and optimize brand positioning.
- Brand Architecture
- Define and refine brand architecture, ensuring clarity and consistency across all brand assets and communications. Develop guidelines to maintain a unified brand identity.
- Campaign Development
- Collaborate with internal teams to create integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns that support business objectives, enhance brand awareness, and drive customer engagement.
- Cross-functional Leadership
- Work closely with Product, Sales, Communications, and Creative teams to ensure alignment of brand messaging across all departments. Serve as a brand ambassador internally and externally.
- Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Measure the effectiveness of brand strategies and campaigns. Utilize data analytics to track brand performance and implement improvements.
- Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor senior graphic designer to ensure content and visual representation of Mercury brand remains effective and consistent, while fostering a creative, innovative, and collaborative environment.
- Brand Equity
- Ensure the brand's health and growth by building long-term brand equity and delivering positive brand experiences for customers, both externally and internally.
- Innovation & Trends
- Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in branding, digital marketing, and consumer behavior to keep the brand relevant and ahead of the curve.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
- Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in brand strategy, marketing, or related discipline, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record of creating and executing successful brand strategies that drive impactful business results.
- Exceptional understanding of brand development, marketing communications, and digital marketing channels.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Creative thinking with the ability to inspire innovation and drive change.
- Experience in managing and mentoring a team of professionals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the technology, B2B, or B2G sectors is a plus.
- Expertise in branding tools, software, and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Brandwatch, etc.).
- Strong understanding of global marketing practices and cultural sensitivities.
