This role functions as a consultant to our people managers, and HR Business Partners and supports assigned divisions on all HR-related needs. The role also partners closely with specialized HR Centers of Excellence (Compensation, Talent Acquisition, HRIS) to support strategic workforce planning initiatives practices, processes, and programs - all in service of making our members' health journeys easier.

What You Bring to Cambia: Qualifications:
  • HR Consultant II would have a bachelor's degree in human resources, business or other related field and minimum of 5 years' experience planning and executing human capital programs and processes or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of HR principles, practices and employment laws
  • Proficiency with Workday and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Problem solving aptitude and experience with HR data analysis and reporting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of talent management principles


Skills and Attributes:
  • Experience designing and executing successful HR initiatives, including facilitating annual performance reviews, calibration meetings, talent reviews and training sessions for staff and management.
  • Knowledge of company and HR policies and procedures, with proven ability to interpret and provide guidance to employees and leaders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence and recommend solutions to partners, employees and leaders.
  • Experience pulling and analyzing HRIS & employee survey data and presenting it in a compelling way to inform business decisions.
  • Experience working in a corporate matrixed environment, with skills in problem-solving and data analysis
  • Experience working with Microsoft office applications (e.g., spreadsheet development, report generation, presentation development).
  • Ability to manage sensitive information discreetly and effectively communicate with management on human capital issues.
  • Proven ability to translate business requests into solutions to drive the business forward.
  • Partner with people managers to develop and refine job descriptions that accurately capture role requirements, essential functions, and success metrics, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives and organizational strategy.
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment laws and regulations, including EEO/AA, FMLA, and ADA.


What You Will Do at Cambia:
  • Maintain a general understanding of HR benefits, programs, and policies.
  • Answer human capital questions and provide resources to employees and managers.
  • Partner with managers to review and analyze internal compensation requests and make recommendations on salary adjustments
  • Contribute to HR projects such as engagement initiatives, policy updates and process improvements
  • Collect and analyze basic HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to develop onboarding plans and materials for new leaders
  • Support organizational re-design and workforce adjustments.
  • Assist with planning, deck creation, and facilitation of calibration, succession planning, and talent review meetings.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze exit survey data
  • Provide Workday support, including processing WFAs, auditing year-end data, end user testing, generating reports and dashboards and approving Workday tasks from assigned business units.
  • Function as HR Business Partner for small business groups.


The expected hiring range for an HR Consulting Specialist II is $82,500 - $95,000 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; performance history; and work location. The bonus target for this position is 10%. The current full salary range for this role is $77,000 - $127,000. #LI-remote #LI-hybrid
