What we need:

The SAP Functional Analyst IBP is a high performing contributor who works to facilitate and support SAP IBP functions and projects by influencing others on SAP policies and procedures to resolve a wide range of IT issues. This role will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, configuring SAP IBP modules, and ensuring the effective utilization of SAP technology.

What you'll do:
  • Partner with Application Architects and the business to successfully perform gap analysis for medium to complex projects and translate the business requirements and business processes into functional design specifications for SAP IBP configuration, enhancement, and custom development work.
  • Utilize knowledge of industry or global "best-practice" processes for Integrated Business Planning.
  • Utilize high level of proficiency and understanding of information technology and the integration between business processes, people, system architecture and systems implementation methodology
  • Partner with the user community to ensure successful and timely User Acceptance Testing.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze SAP requirements.
  • Configure and customize SAP IBP modules to meet business process requirements.
  • Implement and optimize SAP IBP solutions to enhance efficiency and functionality.
  • Performs high quality analysis reliably and consistently.
  • Ensure quality and best practices in each SAP IBP functional domain by driving and adhering to the Mohawk SAP global solution template, SAP standards, knowledge base, and best practices.
  • Find ways to assess and apply innovative ideas to enhance business results.
  • Proactively work with Project Managers and Vendor Project Teams to resolve technical issues and to champion closure on business and technical issues related to process, business rules, and configuration.
  • Successfully lead after-action reviews to identify, document, and share lessons learned.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate technical, system, and process improvements.
  • Support appropriate setup and function of SAP IBP Demand Planning (including History cleansing, Statistical forecasting, NPI, Promotion Planning, Budgeting, Realignment and Aggregations/Disaggregation.
  • Supports SAP CI-DS
  • Perform other duties as needed.


What you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • 11 years of progressive experience in AP analysis positions
  • 10 years of progressive experience performing Project life cycle activities
  • 6 years of progressive experience performing in Design, configuration, integration and implementation in all SAP IBP modules
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of ERP applications, system development life cycle, dynamics of applications development projects, and IT practices and methods.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP business processes & SAP modules.

  • Strong analytical skills to understand and analyze business processes for conversion to SAP IBP and to optimize existing SAP IBP processes.
  • Ability to quickly identify and analyze technical risks and impacts, and define alternatives and prioritizations to remove technical roadblocks.
  • Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
