Job Summary
The Senior Developer is responsible for leading the design, development, and support of enterprise integration solutions across our manufacturing systems and business platforms. This role plays a key part in modernizing legacy systems, improving data connectivity, and enabling seamless integration between ERP (e.g., SAP), cloud platforms, and plant-floor technologies. Reporting directly to the Applications Director the Senior Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance, to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that support both digital transformation and day-to-day manufacturing operations.

Education and Experience Requirements
Physical Requirements

Travel Requirements
Up to 25% travel may be required to other Neenah Foundry Company locations.
Salary range: $129K - 145K (annually). Final compensation based on experience and qualifications.

- Lead and participate in application retirement and data archiving projects.
- Design, develop, and maintain web services using C#, Java, and Python.
- Architect and implement containerized solutions with Kubernetes, Docker, and Podman.
- Work closely with SRE teams to ensure reliability, availability, and performance of systems.
- Integrate with enterprise systems with tools such as Tibco, Boomi, SAP XI, Alteryx, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Collaborate directly with business users to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale data operations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Participate in code reviews, system design, and architecture discussions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the application stack.

- Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data archiving.
- Proficient in web services development using C#, Java, and Python.
- Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Podman.
- Familiarity with API Management platforms such as Kong or equivalent.
- Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices for system monitoring and reliability.
- Skilled in integration technologies including Tibco, Boomi, SAP XI, Alteryx, MuleSoft, Azure ADF.
- Experience interfacing with enterprise systems, especially SAP or other ERP platforms.
- Experience with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with API management and security best practices.
- Proficient in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik.
- Ability to collaborate directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's in computer science or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology
- Experience in the manufacturing domain is highly desirable.
- Experience with legacy system modernization or migration projects preferred.
