Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designing industrial heat transfer systems using 2D AutoCAD for approximately 70% of the job role.
- Occasionally designing in 3D AutoCAD when specifically requested by a customer.
- Managing and leading a team of engineers, dedicating around 30% of the time to staff management duties.
- Developing a wide variety of engineering drawings and documentation to support project and manufacturing processes.
- Engaging continuously with all company products to ensure the most effective and innovative design solutions.
- Collaborating with production and operations teams to implement designs and resolve manufacturing challenges.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in 2D AutoCAD mechanical design within a manufacturing environment.
- At least 4 years of experience in leading engineering teams.
- Must hold an engineering degree from an accredited institution.
- A strong preference for working exclusively within the 2D AutoCAD environment.
- Mandatory U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder status.
- Residence within a 45-minute commute to the Richfield, Wisconsin area.
- Solid career history with demonstrated longevity at previous employers.
