Manager, Partnership and Events

What will you do?

A day in the life of a Manager of Partnership and Events at Dickies looks a little like this.

As a Partnership and Events Manager with Dickies, you will be the owner of identifying, developing and executing meaningful brand connections with consumers and their communities. Consumer connections will include relevant brand-right sponsorships, events and purpose-related activations. You will report to the Senior Manager, PR & Community.

• Identify key sponsorships for the brand to partner with, and effectively leverage those partnerships to maximize brand connections, content and buzz.
• Develop and creatively execute special events that are relevant for the brand and the brand's consumers.
• Brand champion for Dickies Purpose activation; activate the purpose by connecting to and supporting relevant groups, causes and initiatives that strengthen our commitment to our Purpose.
• Execute brand's involvement in events and effectively leverage them to maximize brand connections, social media content and buzz.
• Oversee the management of budgets, timelines and manpower for all events, sponsorships, endorsements and brand activations.
• Oversee the management of report-out of event results and distribution of event content to other areas of the Marketing team and to the organization.

  What do you need to succeed?

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 5 years of experience and professional achievements.
  
  The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
  
  Strong aptitude for identifying brand-appropriate opportunities and situations with which to partner the brand
  
  Strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to form mutually beneficial partnerships with a wide assortment of individuals and groups
  
  Hands-on experience in leveraging social media platforms and content
  
  Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media Best Practices and content creation
  
  Strong aptitude and connection with pop culture, digital marketing and digital-first mentality
  
  Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and time constraints
  
  Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills are required; ability to apply systems knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze new issues is critical
  
  Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style
  
  Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  
  Creativity and "can-do" spirit

Hiring Range:
$82,080.00 USD - $102,600.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
