Executive Director

A well-established community-focused nonprofit is seeking an Executive Director to provide strategic direction, operational leadership, and foster organizational growth. Job Duties

• Strategic Planning & Leadership
  • Collaborate with Board on strategic planning and goal-setting
  • Develop implementation plans for growth, impact, and sustainability
  • Lead fundraising efforts and develop resource acquisition strategies
• Community Collaboration
  • Create an inclusive environment connecting community stakeholders
  • Facilitate volunteerism and community involvement
  • Build professional partnerships to ensure programs meet local needs
• Grant Management
  • Oversee proposal preparation and submission deadlines
  • Administer awarded funds with compliance and accountability
  • Monitor and report on fiscal responsibilities
• Relationship Management
  • Recruit new members and deepen existing relationships
  • Build strong connections with corporate partners, foundations, and donors
  • Maintain consistent communication with key stakeholders
• Leadership & Team Coordination
  • Guide committee activities and support volunteer/staff teams
  • Manage external provider relationships
  • Foster staff development in a positive work environment
• Fiscal Oversight
  • Manage organizational budget and financial health
  • Identify new revenue streams
  • Establish and track performance indicators

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, leadership, mental health, community building, nonprofit management, or related field
• Minimum 8 years successful leadership experience in nonprofit, public settings, government, healthcare, or business
• Proven track record in relationship-building and securing funding
• Strong understanding of nonprofit operations and financial management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinking with implementation abilities
• Effective team leadership skills
