Job Duties
- Strategic Planning & Leadership
- Collaborate with Board on strategic planning and goal-setting
- Develop implementation plans for growth, impact, and sustainability
- Lead fundraising efforts and develop resource acquisition strategies
- Community Collaboration
- Create an inclusive environment connecting community stakeholders
- Facilitate volunteerism and community involvement
- Build professional partnerships to ensure programs meet local needs
- Grant Management
- Oversee proposal preparation and submission deadlines
- Administer awarded funds with compliance and accountability
- Monitor and report on fiscal responsibilities
- Relationship Management
- Recruit new members and deepen existing relationships
- Build strong connections with corporate partners, foundations, and donors
- Maintain consistent communication with key stakeholders
- Leadership & Team Coordination
- Guide committee activities and support volunteer/staff teams
- Manage external provider relationships
- Foster staff development in a positive work environment
- Fiscal Oversight
- Manage organizational budget and financial health
- Identify new revenue streams
- Establish and track performance indicators
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, leadership, mental health, community building, nonprofit management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years successful leadership experience in nonprofit, public settings, government, healthcare, or business
- Proven track record in relationship-building and securing funding
- Strong understanding of nonprofit operations and financial management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking with implementation abilities
- Effective team leadership skills
