Join our dynamic team at BRI as a Research Data Analyst, where you'll play a pivotal role in advancing groundbreaking research! Reporting to a Biostatistician, you'll collaborate closely with our brilliant scientists to analyze complex data and support innovative research projects. This full-time hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both from home and in the office.

You will be responsible for co-planning and conducting statistical analyses, ensuring data quality, and preparing detailed reports for diverse audiences. Your expertise will contribute to impactful research, publications, and presentations. If you have a Master's degree in a relevant field, experience with statistical software (e.g. R, Python), and a passion for research, we want to hear from you! Job Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Biostatistician and BRI Scientists, plan and conduct statistical analysis for BRI research studies
  • Manage data analysis for several projects involving various combinations of investigators and staff
  • Develop and maintain pipelines for data cleaning and management
  • Work collaboratively with the BRI Scientists to identify and resolve data quality issues
  • Prepare detailed analysis reports for a variety of audiences
  • Assist project faculty, staff members, and students with statistical analyses
  • Contribute to interim and final reports for research project as well as manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals
  • Monitor and quality control data and/or reports in accordance with established standards and practices
  • Participate in review of BRI manuscripts before publication, where appropriate
  • Assist with literature searches and preparation of presentation slides, as appropriate

Qualifications
  • Master's degree (preferred) in health sciences, biostatistics, computer science, or a related field or equivalent education/experience
  • Experience in conducting statistical analyses including hypothesis testing, correlation analysis, multivariate analysis, regression, and time series analysis
  • Experience in data cleaning and visualization for large and complex datasets
  • Previous experience working with health data in a research environment
  • Coding/data analysis experience (e.g. R, SAS, Python, etc.)
  • Familiarity with REDcap is an asset
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, especially related to presenting results of statistical analysis to diverse audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface with research teams
