Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals.
- Ensure diagnostic accuracy and quality of the exams performed.
- Execute appropriate patient care and safety protocols during procedures.
- Assess and analyze the diagnostic images for reporting to physicians.
- Provide support and education to patients about the nuclear medicine procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate medical imaging equipment to ensure functional accuracy.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine is required.
- Licensure by the State of Ohio in Nuclear Medicine.
- Ability to perform assigned duties under specific time constraints.
- Professional demeanor and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to varying medical situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Additional certification or training in a specialized area of nuclear medicine is a plus.
- Experience with advanced diagnostic imaging software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex medical information to patients and families.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team.
