Commercial Insurance Account Manager

Join our team as a Commercial Insurance Account Manager in Sussex County, NJ, and be a part of a dynamic, growth-driven insurance agency committed to delivering exceptional client care with honesty and a strategic approach. In this role, you will manage and grow a book of commercial client accounts, utilizing your expertise in insurance solutions and client management to enhance client satisfaction and agency success.

Salary: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned book of commercial lines business, professionally managing all client interactions and inquiries.
  • Employ strategic thinking to anticipate and address client needs, providing customized insurance solutions.
  • Engage daily with clients, building strong relationships and offering guidance on various insurance products to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Use expertise in rate-making and knowledge of underwriting processes to effectively support client requirements and enhance service delivery.
  • Coordinate with agency staff to assure workflow efficiency and tackle operational challenges, fostering a team-oriented environment.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid insurance license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in servicing commercial insurance accounts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Strong understanding of insurance terminology and the ability to apply insurance solutions to meet client needs.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; able to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Applied TAM software is preferred but not required.
  • Professional designations such as CIC, CRM, ARM, CPCU, or AAI are highly valued.
