General Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing customer relationships at all levels, including C-level carrier executives and their leadership teams. This role involves interfacing with product planning, engineering development, procurement, and supply chain teams to sell Qualcomm products. The Senior Director will collaborate closely with technical and product teams at Qualcomm headquarters and coordinate global customer activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Management: Manage and grow revenue for Qualcomm's business.
Demand Shaping: Consolidate, maintain, and promote Qualcomm products and materials from various business units or industry verticals, driving aligned carrier offerings.
Customer Ownership: Serve as the senior owner of customer issues, product questions, and escalations.
Product Roadmap: Actively drive Qualcomm's product roadmap and total solution offerings with business units to match market opportunities.
Project Development: Overall responsibility to planning, organizing, and managing resources to achieve goals and objectives within a specific project. Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. Keeping all stakeholders informed about the project's status and any changes.
Promotion: Be a senior-level, credible promoter of Qualcomm's advanced offerings, including 5G/6G, AI/ML, infrastructure, fixed wireless, PON, WiFi, NTN, and other technologies.
Cross-Functional Interaction: Operate in a fast-paced environment requiring daily cross-functional interaction with technical and non-technical personnel within Qualcomm and the carrier. Strong communication, planning, and execution skills are essential.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of sales, business development, product development or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 12+ years of sales, business development, product development or related work experience.
OR
High school Diploma or equivalent and 14+ years of sales, business development, product development or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related Business field.
Experience: At least 15 years of experience in sales, business development, product management, or a related field.
Leadership: Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
Customer Shaping: Proven ability to shape customer requirements and position solutions to capture opportunities.
Strategic Account Management: Expertise in managing strategic accounts, handling change, and operating effectively across organizations and customers.
Supply Chain & Product Development: Proficient understanding of supply chain, product development, and marketing.
Negotiation Skills: Experience in negotiating and managing MDF, NRE, and component pricing with large customers.
Technical Account Management: OEM Technical Account Management experience.
Marketing & Analysis: Experience in wireless product marketing, competitive analysis, product management, and business development.
Indirect Sales Management: Indirect sales management experience is a plus, with proven, recent "sell-through" success of the latest OEM products.
AT&T Experience: Working experience with AT&T.
Senior-Level Engagement: Comfortable driving an ambitious agenda of product offerings through senior levels of the carrier.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to drive product and technology development, align on strategic goals, and ensure successful product launches and market adoption.
Self-Starter: Resourceful and able to effectively operate in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Travel: Willingness to travel as required.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$231,100.00 - $346,700.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
