Senior Litigation Paralegal

Salary: $101,920.00 - $124,800.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive legal assistant support to attorneys, encompassing all phases from case initiation to trial and beyond.
  • Efficient management of case files, including oversight of document production and maintenance of detailed discovery logs.
  • Preparation for critical case events such as depositions and hearings, including the creation of witness outlines and organization of exhibit documents.
  • Draft, review, and meticulously revise legal documents, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Perform extensive legal research and ensure the accuracy of citations in legal briefs.
  • Coordinate effectively with litigation support teams to facilitate efficient eDiscovery and document review processes.
  • Achieve set annual billable hour targets while maintaining high standards of client service.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Eligibility to work as a paralegal as per Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code section 6450.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a strong background in California law.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Competence with eDiscovery tools such as iPro and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Experience utilizing legal research platforms like Westlaw or Lexis.
  • In-depth understanding of legal procedures, rules, and eDiscovery processes specific to California.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality.

  • Experience in a large law firm environment.
  • Specialized certification in paralegal studies.
  • Proven track record of managing complex litigation cases.
