Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage sophisticated litigation matters for large, high-profile clients across several industries.
- Utilize an existing book of business valued at over $800k, focusing on maximizing client engagement and service delivery.
- Work collaboratively within a team comprising experienced associates, paralegals, and support staff to enhance the growth of your business sector.
- Deliver high-quality litigation services with an emphasis on hourly-based client work.
- Develop niche practice areas that complement and expand the existing capabilities of the firm, with the flexibility to explore new legal domains outside of insurance defense.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Portable book of business with a minimum value of $800k in hourly billing.
- Substantial experience in various litigation fields, except insurance defense.
- Capacity to autonomously manage complex legal cases, supported by firm infrastructure.
- Proven client relationship and business development capabilities, demonstrating the ability to sustain and grow client engagements.
- Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in applicable jurisdictions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in employment law, trusts & estates, and/or insurance recovery is highly favored.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale litigations with strategic outcomes.
- Display leadership qualities with the potential to train and mentor associates and paralegals.
