Job Summary
B&A is looking for an Automation Tester to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Navy ERP Central Component (ECC), Worksoft test suite, and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan). This role involves utilizing automation testing tools to conduct comprehensive functional and performance testing, while ensuring traceability, accuracy, and quality across all test phases.

B&A is looking for an Automation Tester to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Automation Tester to join our team. This role involves utilizing automation testing tools to conduct comprehensive functional and performance testing, while ensuring traceability, accuracy, and quality across all test phases.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional and performance testing using automation testing tools on Navy ERP Central Component (ECC) systems.
- Utilize Worksoft test suite and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) to automate, manage, and monitor test execution processes.
- Plan and execute verification and validation methods to ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Establish and maintain bi-directional traceability of requirements to test cases and results.
- Lead and coordinate test events, monitoring activities, and tracking progress.
- Create and maintain test plans, conduct test design activities, and generate detailed test cases and procedures.
- Execute integration, system, functional, performance, and acceptance testing to to validate application functionality.
- Capture and analyze test data, generate metrics, and compare results against acceptance criteria.
- Prepare and deliver detailed test reports, including results, assessments, and recommendations for improvement.
- Brief stakeholders, customers, and sponsors on test outcomes, providing clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Education and Experience
- 8 Years of experience.
- Bachelor's in computer engineering or similar technical field
Required Skills
- Expert knowledge of Navy ERP Central Component (ECC)
- Expert knowledge of Worksoft test suite
- Expert knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) suite.
- Knowledge of utilizing automation testing tools to conduct functional and performance testing.
- Ability to lead teams, coordinate test events, monitor test activities, track and report progress.
Desired Skills
- Ability in executing test activities to include integration, system, functional, performance, acceptance.
- Skilled in capturing test data, generating test metrics, analyzing test results, and analyzing acceptance criteria conditions.
- Skilled in preparing test reports, preparing presentations, briefing results, providing overall assessments and making recommendations to stakeholders, customers, and sponsors.
Security Clearance
- Holds an active Secret clearance.
