Job Description
The Vice President MUST HAVE experience in the lumber, building materials, millwork industries. The main role is in leading the staff (all divisions, all departments, all locations) in supporting and driving our mission while ensuring that our Vision statement sets the foundation for the direction we take, reaching our goals and achieving success. This position must display initiative, passion, a strong work ethic and the ability to lead and manage change. The VP will also participate in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, along with planning and execution. The VP will develop and execute short, mid, and long-term goals, initiatives, and objectives while overseeing expense budgets, forecasts, and strategies. The VP will be expected to collaborate and communicate effectively with the President/CEO, peer VPs, managers, and staff to ensure the organization's success.

Responsibilities
Implement business development strategies along with yearly sales & margin budgets for all sales staff, divisions, departments, and locations.
Work collaboratively with all divisions to align them with the organization & business strategies and goals.
Develop a strategic alignment with preferred vendors to improve relations, buying power, and product sourcing to support our effort with increasing sales and margin growth.
Collaborate with the credit team to assess risk, and new customer opportunities, and manage any customer credit challenges.
Collaborate on a focused annual marketing plan that supports our sales strategies to help drive revenue results.
Manage, train, support, and lead all various outside sales departments - directly or indirectly through their management unit
Grow and strengthen the companies brand name and image by enhancing consumer awareness.
