ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and optimization of the HRIS.
- Lead system enhancements and troubleshoot HRIS issues in collaboration with HR team members (as needed), IT or vendors. Identify opportunities to enhance workflows and system utilization.
- Generate regular and as needed HR reports for management.
- Serve as point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries.
- Provide user support and guidance on the system and develop/deliver HRIS training as needed.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality in HR systems.
- Maintain user access and security roles to protect sensitive employee information.
- Responsible for routine employee leave administration (i.e. FML and other leaves): leave intake and tracking, documentation, compliance, communication/coordination and return to work process.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave-related questions and processes.
- Responsible for routine workplace modification administration: facilitate the interactive process, documentation, tracking, compliance, communication/coordinator and follow up. Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation of all workplace modification requests, decisions, and communications between employees, managers, and healthcare providers to assess and implement workplace modifications.
- Serve as a point of contact for routine employee benefit inquiries and assist with enrollments.
- Support annual benefits open enrollment and assist in benefits communication initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and coordinate with payroll and benefits vendors as needed.
- Respond to Unemployment Insurance information requests by requested deadline. Participate in hearings when requested.
- Responsible for routine workplace injury administration: claims intake and processing, case management and communication/coordination.
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and offers for assigned recruitments.
- Assist in policy development and ensure compliance with labor laws and PTHA policies.
- Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in the HR department compliance with AAAHC and other accreditations and regulatory items.
- Monitor and address issues within scope of responsibility, escalating matters as appropriate to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and effective resolution.
- Provide backup coverage for other HR functions as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field and five (5) years of progressive HR experience -OR- Associate's Degree and seven (7) years of progressive HR experience -OR- HS Diploma/ GED and ten (10) years of progressive HR experience.
- Extensive experience using HRIS software.
- Knowledge of federal regulations relating to employment law.
- Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
