The IT Analyst - Deltek Vantagepoint is responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of the Deltek Vantagepoint ERP system, ensuring it meets the operational needs of the organization. This role supports system management, reporting, data analysis, and integrations to enhance business processes and decision-making. The IT Analyst works closely with stakeholders to analyze requirements, develop system improvements, and manage IT projects related to Deltek Vantagepoint and its integrations with other business applications. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting system issues, ensuring data integrity, and providing end-user training and support.

The IT Analyst - Deltek Vantagepoint is responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of the Deltek Vantagepoint ERP system, ensuring it meets the operational needs of the organization. This role supports system management, reporting, data analysis, and integrations to enhance business processes and decision-making. The IT Analyst works closely with stakeholders to analyze requirements, develop system improvements, and manage IT projects related to Deltek Vantagepoint and its integrations with other business applications. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting system issues, ensuring data integrity, and providing end-user training and support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Deltek Vantagepoint, including user access, configurations, security, and system updates.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into system enhancements or process improvements.
- Manage integrations between Deltek Vantagepoint and other enterprise applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Troubleshoot system issues, providing timely support and working with vendors when necessary.
- Oversee and support data governance, including data integrity, standardization, and compliance.
- Lead and contribute to IT projects related to system upgrades, implementations, and process automation.
- Develop user training materials and provide end-user support to improve adoption and efficiency.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements
Minimum Education, Licensure, or Certification Required
- BS in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field is generally preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Minimum Experience Required
- 4+ years of experience administering Deltek Vantagepoint or similar ERP/CRM systems.
- Strong understanding of reporting tools, data structures, and analytics.
- Experience with system integrations, API usage, and automation tools.
- Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry.
- Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or other reporting tools.
- Understanding of IT governance and security best practices.
