Responsibilities:
- Maintain active communication between Human Resources and Accounting teams.
- Review and approve global payrolls.
- Review for accuracy and approve payroll commissions, bonus, severance, and vacation payments.
- Lead the payroll integration for new acquisitions.
- Review and approve final payroll summary reports for electronic distribution.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests and maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
- Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
- Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in the Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in processing in-house payroll (multi-state and International environments).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a payroll management position. Ability to manage several direct reports, aid in coaching and mentoring team members.
- Experience collaborating and managing cross functional strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration across finance and other business functions.
- Deep understanding of payroll processes, systems, policies, and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, ambiguous environment with a focus in continuous improvement and a willingness to adapt and take on new challenges.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
- Experience with M&A integration of payroll a plus
- Experience with Payroll Systems within a Cloud based ERP system preferred.
