We have an immediate opening for a Transmission Engineer within a small, dedicated team of three. You will be responsible for leading the design and coordination of transmission lines between 40kV-230kV, applying relevant standards in the engineering and design of electrical overhead and underground systems. This role is crucial to managing current workloads and deadlines.

Pay and Benefits

Job Description
We have an immediate opening for a Transmission Engineer within a small, dedicated team of three. You will be responsible for leading the design and coordination of transmission lines between 40kV-230kV, applying relevant standards in the engineering and design of electrical overhead and underground systems. This role is crucial to managing current workloads and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Design medium and high voltage (40kV-230kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD.
- Prepare construction documents including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation assembly drawings.
- Prepare specifications and project design criteria.
- Provide field support during construction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff members.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 4-7 years of transmission line engineering work.
- Experience in line design.
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD and/or PLS-Pole.
- Experience working with 40kV to 230kV.
- PE or EIT certification.
- Experience with GIS.
- Utility-related construction work experience.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- *will consider H1B candidates with current T-Line experience (3-5 years)
