Job Description

To meet the needs of the region and provide seamless, high quality, comprehensive Psychiatric care, we are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our rapidly growing team. We have a Behavioral Health Inpatient Program that provides a therapeutic environment with assessments and treatment by a multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrist, psychologists, nurses, social workers and mental health technicians. We also offer CPEP Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program that provides 24-hour crisis services for adults and children in crisis.

LOCATION: Binghamton, NY is located 2.5 hours north of New York City and 1 hour from Syracuse, NY. A progressive college community town that offers a large healthcare presence, a safe living environment, and a diverse community with nearby lakes, ski resorts, golf courses, wineries, a symphony orchestra and an opera company.

The position includes a competitive starting salary of $335,000 to $360,000 with bonus incentives, a sign on bonus, moving expenses, and a vast array of employment benefits.

Formed in 1981 through the consolidation of three community hospitals, United Health Services Hospitals employs more than 6,000 people. As a teaching hospital, affiliated with the SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY and the Binghamton University Health Sciences Center, United Health Services Hospitals trains over 100physicians per year in residency and fellowship programs.
