Position Overview:
*This position is available to work from home within the Sutter Health Northern California footprint.
*May need to go onsite in Sacramento in the future.
Serves as a regionally-based project manager in the areas of non-salary expense reduction with a focus on implementation. Facilitates and drives cost reduction opportunities in collaboration with regional and system-based value management activities. Assists regional value management teams and in identifying savings initiatives and provides regular feedback on implementation progress. Develops presentations and progress reports on regional value management activities. Assists hospitals, acute care facilities, and foundations in understanding methods and processes required to achieve measurable results. Provides expertise and assistance in implementing system and regional contracts to optimize expense reduction opportunities. Facilitates regional value management team meetings.
Familiarity with Lab Operations is highly desired.
Job Description:
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor's: Business Administration, or healthcare, or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Demonstrated success in major project coordination and implementation of successful cost containment initiatives.
Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio.
Ability to synthesize data and create meaningful presentation.
Ability to quickly grasp data provided in opportunity analyses and effectively secure feedback to the supplying source as to its quality.
Knowledge of healthcare products and equipment, inventory sources, and alternative sources of supply, purchasing, and distribution systems, contract administration, and new or emerging trends in the industry.
Must be able to successfully facilitate team meetings that may involve competing objectives.
Ability to manage complex situations with a high degree of variation.
Proven ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Successful experience in the coordination of processes for numerous sites.
Team leadership and organization skills.

Pay Range is $44.28 to $66.42 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
