Specific Duties:
  • Establishes short and long term goals plus quotas in line with corporate objectives
  • Sells products to new and/or current customers in an assigned region to achieve or exceed assigned quota
  • Contacts prospective customers to determine product needs and perform sales presentations to match company's products and identified needs
  • Prospects and develops business, responds to RFPs, and develops proposals for presentation to customer
  • Coordinates account resources with representatives from marketing, pre-sales engineering, and development
  • Remains knowledgeable of Aruba Networks products to facilitate sales effort
  • Responsible for pre-sales function as needed
  • Goals communicated in "solution" or project goal terms
  • Maintains sales records and prepares sales reports as required
  • Provides follow up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with products provided
  • Maintains a 90 day rolling forecast
  • Manage all aspects of the evaluation program
  • Understand competition in region and general business climate

Education & Sales Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in business or sales management
  • Minimum 5 years technology sales in networking or security solutions.

  • Self-taught as formal training in emerging technologies may not exist
  • In-house expert on specific technologies

Tches spcifiques :
  • tablir des objectifs court et long terme, ainsi que des quotas conformes aux objectifs de l'entreprise.
  • Vendre des produits des clients nouveaux et existants dans une rgion donne, pour atteindre ou dpasser les quotas tablis.
  • Communiquer avec les clients potentiels pour dterminer leurs besoins et faire des prsentations de vente correspondant aux besoins de l'entreprise.
  • Trouver des clients potentiels et dvelopper des relations commerciales, rpondre aux demandes de propositions et laborer des propositions prsenter aux clients.
  • Coordonner les ressources de compte avec les reprsentants des quipes de marketing, de prvente et de dveloppement.
  • Entretenir une grande connaissance des produits Aruba Networks pour simplifier les efforts de vente.
  • Assurer la responsabilit de la fonction prventes au besoin.
  • Communiquer les objectifs relatifs aux " solutions " et aux objectifs de projet.
  • Entretenir les dossiers de vente et prparer des rapports de vente au besoin.
  • Effectuer un suivi auprs des clients afin de s'assurer qu'ils sont satisfaits des produits proposs.
  • Entretenir des prvisions en continu sur 90 jours.
  • Grer tous les aspects du programme d'valuation.
  • Bien connatre la concurrence dans la rgion et le climat commercial gnral.
